This is a written pattern assuming foundational sweater knitting knowledge and is not intended to be beginner friendly. Supplemental research or practice to learn new skills may be required to complete this project.
This pattern requires a working knowledge of: knitting & purling both flat & in the round, provisional cast on, german short row shaping, increasing, decreasing, tubular bind off.
Circular needles are used to work in the round, starting with 16” (40 cm) for the cast-on and switching to longer cable lengths as the yoke grows. The sleeves are made with the smallest cable length or preferred short circumference needles i.e DPNs or magic loop.
Cast-on, bind-off, and short row methods suggested in this pattern are able to be substituted with any other method.
