construction
The Ivy Pullover is worked in the round, top down, and seamlessly. Beginning with neck shaping worked flat for a short time on circular needles then is joined and worked in the round for the remainder. The yoke is then divided and sleeve stitches are placed on hold while the body is worked and finished with 1x1 ribbing and Italian bind off.
The sleeves are worked one at a time, placing the held stitches back onto a circular needle and working in pattern with a choice of 3 sleeve shape options. The sleeves are finished in 1x1 ribbing and bound off. Lastly, stitches are picked up around the neck and worked in 1x1 ribbing, folded, and knit down to the inside of the sweater.

This is a written pattern assuming foundational sweater knitting knowledge and is not intended to be beginner friendly. Supplemental research or practice to learn new skills may be required to complete this project.
This pattern requires a working knowledge of: knitting & purling both flat & in the round, reading a chart, lace knitting, increasing, decreasing, picking up stitches, Italian bind off.
Circular needles are used to work in the flat and in the round, starting with the longer cable for the yoke and body, switching to a shorter cable for the sleeves.
Cast on, bind off, and short row methods suggested in this pattern can be substituted with any other.
